Equis International introduced two new add-ons to the MetaStock line of technical analysis software: PowerStrike and Tactical Trader Advanced Trading Strategies.

“We are excited to announce the release of the PowerStrike and Tactical Trader Advanced Trading Strategies add-ons for MetaStock,” said Scott Brown, Director of Sales and Marketing for Equis International. “We feel these add-ons, combined with MetaStock, offer our customers new and innovative ways to make trading decisions.”

Created by John Slauson, PowerStrike is unique because it is the only add-on that determines support and resistance based on three developments in the market:

• Stock prices are heavily influenced by trading near option strike price levels

• Bullish and bearish pressures at these strike price levels resolve more quickly than pressures at other levels

• Traders are drawn to option strike prices

Tactical Trader Advanced Trading Strategies is comprised of three different trading strategies developed by Clinton Schladich:

• Time on Target system — This system utilizes time displacement and well known, slightly adapted indicators to hone in on trades

• Geometric Vector System — This system provides a better understanding of price action using the theory of price action and resistance vectors

• Strategic Edge System — This system is a more traditional system that employs a varied method of entries and exits
